You rock, I hope you know that
Hello there, this is Dave.
I'm the host and creator of the Maximum Mediocrity Podcast and you seem to have stumbled upon our support page. If you want to help support the Maximum Mediocrity Podcast then you rock, I mean seriously. This show was started because I wanted to connect with people that I might not be able to otherwise. I also did it to prove that if I put my mind to it, I could make something that would bring other people joy, or at least make their commute to work a little easier. So just you being here and even considering helping out the show means the world to me.
Right now, there are a few different ways that you can support the podcast. Firstly is by donating to the show. This allows me to pay for regular expenses like web hosting and replacing broken equipment. I'm not going to ask for a lot. $1 or $5 is plenty. There is a donate button on the bottom of the page if you'd like to do that.
I know that money is tight right now, believe me, it's tight around here too. So if donating is not your thing, that's totally fine.
The second way you can help support the Maximum Mediocrity Podcast is by sharing our page on your favorite social media platform or by liking us on Facebook. That helps get the word out about the show. And honestly, I would rather the people that genuinely enjoy the podcast recommend it to other people that might genuinely enjoy the podcast rather than pouring money into marketing schemes to get peoples attention. Heck, even if you're not on any social media sites then just bringing it up to your friends is a HUGE help! You could just yell THE MAXIMUM MEDIOCRITY PODCAST RULES!! in a room at a party and you'll have done me a great service. Just kidding, don't do that. You might get kicked out of the party. Maybe just strike up some conversation with that wallflower staring at the floor in the corner, maybe they like podcasts.
Thirdly, you can go onto iTunes, give us a five star rating and/or leave a comment. Feedback is important in making the show better and I read every comment personally.
You can also go to YouTube and subscribe to our channel if you want. That is double helpful because it helps the show AND you can stay up to date on the latest episodes just in case something goes wrong with any podcast streaming services (I'm looking at you Stitcher).
Regardless of whether you want to help support the podcast or not, thank you very much for listening. Because without people like you trying something new, we would all still be stuck with only three flavors of ice cream. And that is a world I wouldn't be able to live in.
